CFDs
at ZFB Services
Contracts for Difference (CFDs) are derivative
products empowering the trader to take short and long positions on the
underlying instruments. CFDs are margin-traded as well, so that a
serious investor can gear his portfolio positions to actively take
advantage of market movements.
Choose from among 20 stock exchanges (3000
individual equity instruments) and 11 stock indices (where you take a
long or short position on the movement of the entire index!). You may
also trade CFDs on 11 stock indices. Our low margin requirements allow
up to 20x gearing for investments in stock indices. Use our built-in
technical analysis and trend-tracking tools to plan your investment
strategies.
Index-Tracking CFDs
Index-tracking CFDs allow you to trade on the
price movements of an entire Stock index, without owning any of the
stocks within that index. SaxoTrader allows for trading on 11 stock
indices:
- S&P 500 (US)
- NASDAQ 100 (US)
- Dow Jones Industrial Average (US)
- FTSE 100 (London Stock Exchange)
- DAX 30 (Frankfurt Stock Exchange)
- CAC 40 (Paris Stock Exchange)
- SMI (Swiss Market Index)
- OMX (Stockholm Stock Exchange)
- ASX S&P 200 (Australian Stock Exchange)
- Nikkei 225
- Dow Jones Euro STOXX 50 Index
Direct Market Access (DMA) CFDs
Direct Market Access provides direct access to
the exchange order book and allows you to place trades directly around
the live market (yellow) price.
With DMA CFDs you can:
- Trade at the current market price when the
order hits the market (market orders)
- Place orders at the displayed yellow price
or better
- Join the current yellow price to buy at the
Bid price or sell at the Offer price
Trading CFDs on live market prices requires an
exchange subscription agreement for each of the exchanges you want to
trade. There is also a ticket fee for DMA CFDs.
